Virginia Catholic Forensics League
The VCFL covers all of southern Virginia, from Woodberry to Roanoke to Virginia Beach. The VCFL has a state championship in the Spring that leads to the national CFL championship in May.
National Speech and Debate Association
This is the biggest and oldest league in the United States. The NSDA chooses the monthly debate topics for the whole country. There are only 2 levels of competition in the NSDA - state and national. The Virginia state tournaments are split into a speech tournament and a debate tournament on separate weekends in the spring. The national tournament is every June.
Shenandoah Valley Forensics League
This league was created for schools in the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia, but any nearby school can join.
Invitationals
These are tournaments where anyone from any high school can attend. This year we plan to attend national invitationals at the University of Pennsylvania, Bronx Science High School, and Durham Academy.
